Practical support when crisis cannot wait.
Crisis Support Services of Nevada operates programs that provide immediate crisis intervention, ongoing care connection, and dedicated advocacy for survivors. Our work is built around access, safety, follow-through, and public trust.
Clear programs. Defined responsibilities. Support that follows through.
A first point of support in moments of crisis.
CSSNV’s programs are built to meet people in the moment, help stabilize immediate concerns, and connect them to the right support when more help is needed.
Crisis Contact Center
The Crisis Contact Center is the core of CSSNV’s work. Operating 24/7/365, trained crisis counselors provide immediate de-escalation, emotional support, suicide intervention, safety planning, and connection to resources by phone, text, and chat.
Nevada 988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
CSSNV serves as Northern and Rural Nevada’s regional 988 crisis contact center within Nevada’s statewide 988 system. Our team helps ensure people can reach trained crisis counselors with local knowledge and connection to Nevada resources.
Care Coordination
Crisis support does not always end when a call, text, or chat disconnects. Care Coordination provides follow-up support, resource navigation, and connection to ongoing care for individuals with complex behavioral health, social service, or support needs.
Victim Services Unit
The Victim Services Unit provides confidential, survivor-centered advocacy for individuals impacted by sexual violence. Advocates offer emotional support, information, reporting options, forensic exam accompaniment, referrals, and connection to ongoing resources.
Programs built around real community needs.
CSSNV’s work includes more than a single hotline. We support specialized lines, advocacy partnerships, campus-based survivor support, and community-facing education designed to strengthen Nevada’s crisis response system.
CSSNV supports specialized crisis and behavioral health lines that help connect callers to the right service, program, or response pathway.
Confidential survivor advocacy through full-time community-based advocates, the Sexual Assault Response Team, Campus Victim Advocate services, and hotline follow-up support, helping survivors of sexual violence access information, accompaniment, and connection across community and campus settings.
CSSNV helps build community capacity through education on crisis response, suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and supportive response practices.
